In Nigeria, children are accused of witchcraft. They are left to starve to death, raped or brutally killed. Anja Ringgren Lovén, the heroine of the new season of the show "Woman on the Ende of the World," has dedicated her entire life to helping them. Now we are launching a collection for her organization "Land of Hope". Together we want to create a world full of hope. Will you join us?
In 2016, the whole world heard about Anja Ringgren Lovén. It was all due to one photo. It captures a shocking scene: a woman is giving water to extremely malnourished two-year-old boy in a Nigerian village. The boy was accused of witchcraft and driven from his home. He wandered for a long time before he got help.

In Nigeria, belief in magic is an integral part of life. This is how all misfortunes and accidents are explained. For those living in poverty and deprived of the chance for education, such an excuse is also an excuse to get rid of another person to feed from home. In the 21st century, people accuse children of witchcraft, kids are often beaten and raped, which is supposed to force them to admit that they are possessed by evil forces. They are exorcised by local Christian church pastors or watered down with poisonous concoctions by "healers."
Anja has been active in Nigeria for years, and is the founder of Land of Hope, an organization that rescues and gives safe haven to children accused of witchcraft. They fight against superstition and accusations that have led to the stigmatization, torture, abandonment and death of thousands of children in the country. They currently take care of more than 92 kids at the Land of Hope Center. Their work is also based on conducting informational campaigns in smaller towns and villages. They also focuse on legal issues and talk to local authorities.

WHAT ARE THE FUNDS NEEDED FOR?
- To help maintain the Land of Hope Center;
- Financial support for the education of rescued children;
- Purchase of uniforms and food;
- Access to health care;
- Salaries for local teachers and staff.
One of Land of Hope’s main goals is to show that EDUCATION IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WEAPON IN THE BATTLE AGAINST SUPERSTITION. By changing one person's life, we change the whole world. Now we have a chance to help Anja save even more children.
"If courage had a name" is the title of the first episode of the new season of the program "Woman on the End of the World". Martyna Wojciechowska waited more than 7 years for this meeting. See what the life of this exceptional woman, who left her heart in Africa and who gave a new life to a boy, named Hope, looks like now. This was one of the most important trips in the history of the program. An unforgettable trip to the edge of humanity, where the word magic has a cruel meaning.

At the same time, a book entitled "Matka dzieci przeklętych," which is a biography of Anja Ringgren Lovén (Agora Publishing House), will also be released on the Polish market.
New episodes of "Woman on the End of the World" premiere every Sunday at 11:30 on TVN and on player.pl.
