Małgorzata Stafin

After a few years of working for television and PR she had a go at working at the world of NGOs and has not left it ever since ;-) Establishing foundations, running them, designing aid campaigns and projects is what she is most passionate about and feels this line of work is her destiny. Over the past 7 years, she has been building and managing three charity foundations supporting people from the less affluent parts of the world (primarily in Africa) and Poland. She has executed more than a dozen aid projects that have generated approx. PLN 16 million funds for the beneficiaries of the foundations she worked at. This job has taught her that sometimes it is actually hard to say who gets more out of helping – those who receive the help of those who are helping... One thing is certain – they all become different people afterwards, and this is what helping is all about! To be even closer to people in need, Małgorzata studies at the School of Psychotherapy. She was drawn to the UNAWEZA Foundation by Martyna’s passion to create and run innovative ventures and her willingness to be close to people in need, which has become the essence of her recent professional work. At the Foundation, Małgorzata is responsible for the implementation of its mission and vision and for strategic operations.
