YES!!! Dreams have become reality and our first five mentees have moved to the new place. Kabula, Regina, Tatu, Felista and Agnes are already in their rooms.
We still have a lot to do, but the girls already have their own SAFE PLACE! I thank you with all my heart for your support and I ask you to stay with us.
This is not the end of work on this project. There are many challenges ahead of us.
There are still rooms for the next residents to be finished. A unique common room will also be created, which will be the heart of the house – a place to meet with the local community, regardless of skin color or religion. We believe that this is where the BIG CHANGE that we count on so much will begin. Because every change begins with small, single steps, even a conversation, which will also be a lesson in tolerance, openness and mutual understanding.
Due to the current situation, we could not get to the grand opening ceremony, but we have the most recent photos.
